The Gin Guild Welcomes Global Talent at Spring Installation Ceremony at Guildhall, London

The Gin Guild has celebrated the global reach and continuing evolution of the gin category at its Spring Installation ceremony on 8th May, held at the historic Guildhall in the City of London.

The ceremony welcomed 29 new members on the night from across the world, including industry leaders from Italy, Germany, Sweden, the USA, Ecuador, and The Netherlands.

Among the distinguished new members were Christian Krogstad, co-creator of Aviation Gin; Ago Perrone, the award-winning mixologist and Director of Mixology at The Connaught Bar; Nitesh Chhapru, Global Brand Director for Tanqueray & Super Premium Gins at Diageo; and Will Lowe, Master Distiller and co-founder of the innovative Cambridge Distillery.

The Guild also welcomed eight new companies into its corporate membership programme, reflecting a growing commitment across the sector to uphold the Guild’s standards of excellence and advocacy for the gin category worldwide.

The Gin Guild’s ceremonies, held twice a year, continue the tradition of formal installation that honours its heritage and City of London roots, including its longstanding relationship with the Worshipful Company of Distillers.

With members now spanning more than 30 countries, the Gin Guild continues to support the global industry through advocacy, education, and the celebration of excellence in gin.
