Madrona Distillery, established in 2022 by Tom and Anne Allan, is a family-owned craft distillery located in Redmond, Washington. The distillery draws its name from the native madrona trees that grace the shores of Puget Sound, particularly in the San Juan and Gulf Island archipelagos.
Specialising in traditional London Dry-style gin, Madrona Distillery’s flagship product is the result of over three years of meticulous research and development.
Tom Allan, leveraging more than fifteen years of experience in the beverage industry and formal training from Scotland’s Heriot-Watt University and the University of California, Davis, collaborated with gin botanical consultants from The Distiller’s Nose in the United Kingdom to craft this gin.
The spirit features a harmonious blend of juniper, citrus, and spice, making it versatile for various cocktails.
In 2024 Madrona Dry Gin was awarded a Gold Medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition, underscoring its quality and craftsmanship. This accolade reflects the distillery’s dedication to sourcing the finest botanicals and employing traditional distillation methods.
The distillery’s tasting room provides visitors with samples, cocktails, barware, and branded merchandise, offering an immersive experience into their craft.
