Inspired by Capri’s heritage and the region’s artisanal traditions, Solaro is an ultra-premium gin that encapsulates the essence of Capri, both through its unique recipe-featuring local botanicals like Zagara lemon blossom and juniper from Cilento – and its unique handcrafted ceramic packaging, made by Italian artisans.
The gin is distilled at the historic 4th generation Russo distillery in Salerno, reinforcing a commitment to authentic Italian craftsmanship and regional provenance. It has been referred to as a “liquid postcard from Capri”.
Solaro is positioned as a benchmark for luxury, sustainability, and cultural storytelling in the gin industry, with ongoing efforts to expand global reach and inspire innovation across the premium spirits sector.
Solaro Gin’s bottle isn’t like any spirit bottle you’ve seen before. They’re made of ceramic instead of glass, and designed to be stackable in shipping, storage, and display. They’re also hand-decorated and each bottle takes almost a week to create from start to finish. It is a beautiful bottle, and a labour of love that demonstrates centuries of Italian craftsmanship.
Their passionate, multi-generational family of ceramists put their full skill on display when they create these bottles.
