Hernö has won a staggering total of 51 medals since 2015 in the ISC Tasting Awards and now crowns the streak with the most prestigious award of them all.

The Producer awards recognise the best performing drinks producers in the challenge. The results are determined by a weighted points system, which scores the achievement of all brands entered into a single category.

Jon Hillgren, Founder and Master Distiller at Hernö said:

– Winning Gin Producer of the year at the ISC is an incredible achievement. We are both proud and truly grateful for this recognition, which reflects the dedication and passion of our entire team, says Emma Edfors CEO at Hernö Gin.

Even though this is the first time they’ve won the prestigious title at the ISC, it’s far from the first time Hernö is the champion of international competitions. Hernö has now claimed the top title in five out of six of the largest international competitions. Most recently they won The most awarded international distillery at the ADI International Spirits Competition and Distiller of the Year at the World Drinks Awards (WDA).

Jon continued “To be consistently acknowledged on the global stage is a huge honour, and it inspires us to continue crafting world-class gin. Claiming the top title in five out of six of the largest international competitions is an extraordinary achievement that fuels our drive”.
