The Cotswolds Distillery was established in 2014 as the first-ever full-scale craft distillery within the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).  We produce a range of “Outstanding Natural Spirits”, including the first-ever Cotswolds Single Malt Whisky, featuring Cotswolds-grown barley.  We also produce the award-winning Cotswolds Dry Gin, featuring local lavender from Snowshill, as well as a full range of spirits, from Absinthe to Distilled Espresso Martini.

Tours at Cotswolds Distillery

The guided tours around the distillery’s production areas and warehouses give a detailed account of how they craft their spirits – principally gin and single malt whisky.

At the end of the tour, you can make yourself at home in the tasting room to sample the full range of spirits and liqueurs. These award-winning tours run three times a day, seven days a week.  The shop and tasting room are open Monday to Saturday from 9am to 5pm and on Sundays from 11am to 4pm.

We run tours every day at 11am, 1pm and 3pm but these frequently sell out in advance so be sure to book ahead, either online or by phoning the distillery on 01608 238 533, to avoid disappointment.

Tours cost £10 per person and take away samples are available for any drivers.

Cotswolds Dry Gin

Cotswolds Dry Gin

The Cotswolds Dry Gin is a delectable blend of nine carefully-considered botanicals, including lavender from the Cotswolds and freshly-peeled pink grapefruit and lime zest. They use over 10 times the amount of botanicals and do not chill filter their gin, which causes a beautiful pearlescent cloud to appear when ice or tonic is added, known as The Cloudy G&T.

Cotswolds Platinum Jubilee Gin

The Cotswolds Platinum Jubilee Gin celebrates the unprecedented anniversary of Her Majesty the Queen. It encapsulates the taste of summer in a bottle for everyone to enjoy with family and friends. The Platinum Jubilee Gin is the perfect addition to their best-selling Cotswolds Dry Gin and is a must have on your garden table this summer. Crafted with nine botanicals, the liquid contains flavours of fresh grapefruit citrus, raspberry, fresh strawberry and vanilla. The palate presents notes of jammy raspberry, strawberry and fresh citrus, and the finish boasts hints of vanilla ice cream.
Cotswolds Old Tom Gin from Cotswold Distillery

Cotswolds Old Tom Gin

The Cotswolds Old Tom Gin is in keeping with a traditional Old Tom, and has sweet, woody notes from liquorice root, light spice from ginger, zesty orange citrus and a hint of cardamom. Their Old Tom originally started with a competition at the distillery, whereby each member of the new product development team spent 4 weeks carefully creating and tasting different recipes. They then got together a tasting panel who rated each finished recipe by preference for further development.
Cotswold Wildflower No.1 Gin Bottle

Cotswolds Wildflower Gin No.1

Our No.1 Wildflower Gin starts with a London Dry base featuring juniper, coriander and angelica, to which they add essences of cornflowers, lavender, orange and rhubarb root.
Cotswold Wildflower No.2 Gin Bottle

Cotswolds Wildflower Gin No.2

Inspired by the glorious grasslands of the Cotswolds, the golden-hued No.2 Wildflower Gin is a delightful blend of gentian, lemon balm, elderflower and chamomile layered over a classic London Dry gin. Bittersweet and beautifully floral, with notes of sherbet lemons and delicate eucalyptus.
