1897 Quinine Gin

1897 Quinine Gin is an innovative London Dry Gin made using cinchona bark – a natural, traditional source of quinine – as well as cold distilled fresh lemon and grapefruit peels. The gin was developed to support Malaria No More UK, a superb charity that works to protect millions from the entirely preventable disease, while lobbying governments to affect change.

Over 50% of the producer’s profit (at least £5 per bottle sold) is donated to support Malaria No More UK. This is enough to buy, deliver and hang a mosquito net for a family living at risk from malaria in Africa. A tasty gin that also does good!

ABV:45.8%
Nose:Citrus forward, very fresh. Slightly woody juniper compliments the herbaceous cinchona bark.
Palate:The cinchona elements bring to mind old-fashioned tonic water. Grows spicier as it goes on.
Finish:Grapefruit, nutmeg and juniper continue on and on.
Serve:Try in a Sour twist.
