Eden Mill launches limited-edition Winter in St Andrews gin

Gin Guild member unveils a seasonal gin featuring blood orange, cinnamon and clove, designed to bring a festive twist to the classic Negroni.

Eden Mill has launched Winter in St Andrews Gin, a limited-edition gin inspired by the colder months and the distinctive character of its home in St Andrews, Scotland.

Following the success of Summer in St Andrews Gin, the new release continues the distillery’s seasonal gin range, with just 500 bottles available. Combining warming blood orange, cinnamon and clove, the gin has been created with winter aperitivo occasions in mind.

Eden Mill recommends enjoying Winter in St Andrews in a festive take on the classic Negroni. The serve combines equal parts gin, sweet vermouth and Campari, built over ice and finished with an orange twist.

Hamish Maclean, Senior Brand Manager at Eden Mill, said: “Summer in St Andrews showed us there is a real appetite for small, seasonal releases that capture moments in this special town.

Winter in St Andrews is an ode to the shorter days, warmer flavours, and gathering round loved ones with a warming drink as the sun sets.”

He added that blood orange works naturally alongside the bittersweet character of Campari, while cinnamon and clove complement the vermouth, creating a Negroni that is “rounder and warmer than the classic”.

Winter in St Andrews is available directly from the distillery, through the Eden Mill website and from selected specialist retailers in St Andrews.

The launch demonstrates how seasonal releases can offer distillers an opportunity to explore flavour, connect with a sense of place and give consumers new ways to enjoy familiar serves.
