Eden Mill captures the taste of the Scottish summer with limited edition gin

Gin Guild member Eden Mill has unveiled a new limited-edition gin celebrating the flavours of its hometown of St Andrews during the summer months.

Just 500 bottles of Summer in St Andrews have been produced, making it one of the distillery’s most exclusive seasonal releases.

Bottled at 40% ABV, the coastal Scottish gin combines bright lemon with tart rhubarb before finishing with locally sourced raspberries and strawberries from Tarvit Farm in Cupar, creating a fresh and fruit-forward expression inspired by long afternoons on Scotland’s east coast.

Hamish Maclean, Senior Brand Manager at Eden Mill, described the release as “an ode to our hometown in the sun”.

“It’s a gin for garden parties and beach picnics, that can be enjoyed with tonic, lemonade, prosecco or whatever you so choose. Local raspberries and strawberries from Tarvit Farm are bolstered by heady rhubarb and a sharp kick of lemon. There’re just 500 bottles, so – like the Scottish summer – it will be gone before you know it!”

The launch will also be celebrated during Afternoon Tea Week (10-16 August 2026), with Eden Mill offering a specially created Summer Gin Afternoon Tea throughout August. Designed around the new gin’s flavour profile, the experience includes cakes and preserves paired to its tasting notes, together with a signature Bramble served tableside from a teapot.

Summer in St Andrews is available now from the Eden Mill Distillery Shop, online and through selected trade partners, priced at £32 per 70cl bottle.
