The Hayman family is the longest serving gin distilling family in England, with five generations of the family dedicated to making the finest handcrafted gins since 1863.
Today, Hayman Distillers is run by 5th generation siblings James and Miranda Hayman, supported by their father Christopher, continuing a family tradition that has evolved alongside the story of English gin.
At the heart of Hayman’s approach is a commitment to True English Gin – a style characterised by balance, clarity and a distinctive juniper-led character. The family’s generations of experience are reflected in every stage of the process, from the careful selection of botanicals through to distillation in their traditional copper pot stills.

The Hayman copper pot stills play an essential role in the distilling process. Their design allows heat to be dispersed evenly and efficiently throughout the still, helping to extract the desired flavours and aromas from the botanicals while stripping out unwanted characteristics.
The stills are at the very heart of Hayman’s production, helping the team create the bright, balanced and smooth flavour that defines their range of True English Gins.
