London, 13 June 2025 – The Gin Guild’s flagship industry seminar, Ginposium, returned last Friday with a sell-out event at RSA House, delivering a dynamic programme of expert insight and spirited discussion.
Among the day’s highlights was the reveal from global drinks analyst Chris Pitcher that global gin volumes rose by 2% in 2024, with growth being driven by emerging markets and premium-plus brands. His detailed analysis highlighted opportunities for those able to innovate and adapt in a changing global landscape.
In the ever-popular Legends Slot, Christopher Hayman interviewed Charles Maxwell of Thames Distillers, a tenth-generation distiller and one of the most respected figures in the industry.

It attracted a diverse audience from across the gin world – from established global brands to new craft producers and technical specialists.
