The Boatyard Distillery sits on the shores of Lough Erne in County Fermanagh and is housed within a sensitively converted boatyard that reflects both its industrial heritage and rural setting. Production centres around a small copper pot still, affectionately named Érainn, alongside a column still known as Doc Brown.

Together, these form the basis of Boatyard’s distinctive “double contact” distillation process, designed to maximise botanical interaction and build depth, particularly in juniper-led spirits.

Botanicals are carefully prepared and distilled in small batches, with a strong emphasis on precision, balance and consistency. The distillery maintains a hands-on approach throughout production, from distilling and blending through to bottling and labelling on site.

Boatyard also welcomes visitors, offering guided tours that provide insight into the distilling process, the local botanicals used and the philosophy behind the range. Tours typically include tastings of the core spirits and cocktails, making the distillery both a working production site and a destination for gin enthusiasts and industry visitors alike.
