Warner’s is one of the latest businesses to become a certified B Corporation, joining only nine other distilleries to be B Corp certified in the UK. The certification is presented only to companies that meet a rigorous set of environmental and social operating standards outlined by B Lab.
Founded in 2012, Warner’s has always held itself to high standards. 10 years on, this fact remains. The reason? Warner’s believes that each of us should aim to leave the planet better than when we found it. To keep accountable, Warner’s puts the British countryside at the forefront of everything it does.
From working with organisations like B Lab and 1% for the planet to creating its own sustainable accreditation earlier this year (Warner’s Nature Marque) to ensuring much of its 100% natural gin is distilled using ingredients grown and hand-picked on its very own Falls Farm in rural Northamptonshire.
Speaking about the certification, Founder and CEO Tom Warner, said:
“We’re thrilled to announce that Warner’s Distillery is now a certified B Corp.”
“As the spirit of the British countryside, sustainability really is at the heart of everything we do, it’s not just lip service for us. We believe in doing the right thing, by people and the planet. That’s why we craft our spirits in harmony with nature, at our home on Falls Farm in rural Northamptonshire.”
“As we approach our 10th birthday, we’re incredibly proud of the work we do to support with our vision to become the most nature positive drinks business in the world! From the action led projects we are involved with in our local area, to launching a first-of-its-kind, national pub accreditation scheme and joining initiatives such as 1% For The Planet and B Corp, there’s so much to celebrate. This is just the beginning.”
