Fever-Tree has collaborated with Papa Salt Coastal Gin, the gin from Margot Robbie to introduce a new ready-to-drink (RTD) cocktail, blended with its Italian Blood Orange Soda.

The Fever-Tree x Papa Salt Blood Orange Gin Spritz (RRP £2.90/250ml) is set to hit Waitrose and Sainsbury’s shelves this April.

At 5% ABV, the pre-mixed spritz aims to tap into the growing demand for light, refreshing cocktail serves. Fever-Tree has previously explored this space, having worked with French brand Maison Mirabeau on a rosé-based spritz last year.

Described by the company as “a bright, citrus-forward cocktail with a herbaceous finish,” the latest release contains just 107 calories per can.

Fever-Tree co-founder and CEO Tim Warrillow expressed his excitement for the launch, saying:

“While I’ve always loved a classic G&T, working with the Papa Salt team has been a fantastic opportunity to explore how well our premium sodas complement different gins. I have no doubt that both gin fans and spritz lovers will enjoy this perfect summer drink.”

The launch will be backed by a summer marketing campaign, including PR, social media, influencer partnerships, festival activations, and sampling.

Papa Salt, which entered the UK market last year via Tesco, was co-founded by Robbie, Josey McNamara, Tom Ackerley, Charlie Maas, and Regan Riskas. The gin is distilled in Byron Bay, Australia, in a zero-waste, renewable energy-powered facility.

Robbie shared her enthusiasm for the partnership, stating:

“Papa Salt with soda and a wedge of blood orange is our go-to serve—it’s simple, refreshing, and always hits the mark. Fever-Tree has been our favourite mixer from the start, so we’re thrilled to bring this Blood Orange Gin Spritz to life with them.”

Earlier this year, Fever-Tree announced a £71m strategic partnership with Molson Coors, giving the drinks giant production and distribution rights for Fever-Tree’s range in the US, along with an 8.5% stake in the business.
