Edinburgh Gin unveils new Grapefruit & Mandarin travel retail exclusive

Gin Guild member Edinburgh Gin has expanded its successful travel retail portfolio with the launch of a new full-strength flavoured gin created exclusively for Avolta’s UK World Duty Free stores.

Edinburgh Gin Grapefruit & Mandarin (40% ABV) combines fresh grapefruit and mandarin peels to create a bright citrus-forward expression, with Timur pepper adding aromatic complexity and a gentle spicy finish.

The new release becomes the fourth full-strength flavoured Edinburgh Gin developed exclusively for Avolta, joining Key Lime & Ginger, Strawberry & Pink Pepper and Watermelon & Lime.

Head Distiller David Wilkinson said:

“The combination of fresh grapefruit and tangy mandarin makes this a vibrant and zesty gin. The addition of Timur pepper enhances the grapefruit aromas, as well as adding a spicy tingle to the aftertaste.”

The gin has been developed at The Arches, Edinburgh Gin’s distillery and visitor centre in the heart of Scotland’s capital, which was recently recognised as Gin Distillery Experience of the Year at the Scottish Gin Awards.

The launch further strengthens Edinburgh Gin’s presence in global travel retail and highlights the continued demand for premium flavoured gins within the category.
