The Edinburgh Gin Distillery Brands:

Edinburgh Christmas Gin

Edinburgh Christmas Gin features some truly unique botanicals. This festive spirit is distilled with Frankincense & Myrrh, which adds a fragrant aroma culmination in a nutmeg finish that evokes a quintessential yuletide warmth. Their distillers recommend sipping their Christmassy creation in a classic G&T to release some of the more complex flavours. It also works well in a Negroni, with the sweet myrrh providing balance to the bitter finish of the Campari.

Edinburgh Gin

This gin has hints of pine, the taste of the mountains, is to the forefront with heathery scented notes following on. A well balanced crisp gin with gingery spiciness and laid back citrus. Edinburgh gin is made in small batch distilled in a Scottish copper pot still called Jenny Juniper forward with a fresh citrus edge and a hint of spice. Exceptionally smooth perfect just over ice Exclusive botanicals: Pine Heather Milk thistle (all from the Scottish Highlands)

Edinburgh Gin’s Elderflower Liqueur

Fully natural, made from 100% fresh, handpicked elderflowers . The result, after painstaking refinements to every subtlety of the recipe, is a clean floral nose with hints of pear, peach and grapefruit zest. Most importantly, one will note the wonderfully fresh flavour of the elderflowers, available for the first time in a finely balanced gin. Edinburgh Gin infused with fresh Elderflower and Lemon Juice.

Edinburgh Gin’s Raspberry Liqueur

Edinburgh Gin infused with fresh Perthshire raspberries. Distinctively Scottish. Raspberry Infused Edinburgh Gin is made from a traditional family recipe using locally sourced raspberries, matured with Edinburgh Gin and pure cane sugar. This results in a delicious deep, tart raspberry flavour.

Edinburgh Seaside Gin

Inspired by the East Coast shoreline near Edinburgh, Seaside Gin is a small-batch gin which harnesses the essence of the Scottish seaside to evoke a day at the beach. Originally a limited edition, this maritime marvel now sits proudly in our core range. Inspired by native shores Boasting a collection of native Scottish botanicals foraged from the coastline, Seaside Gin is defined by juniper, soft minerality and sweet notes. This is the first of our collaborations through our partnership with Heriot-Watt University’s Brewing and Distilling MSc course. Marine botanicals Seaside Gin is a delicately balanced gin, featuring foraged botanicals including scurvy grass, ground ivy and bladderwrack. These are complemented with aromatic spice notes from grains of paradise, coriander and cardamom. Available in 70CL Edinburgh Gin Italian glass bottles. Created in traditional pot still Flora at the Edinburgh Gin Distillery.

Edinburgh Valentine’s Gin

Lovingly handcrafted in the Edinburgh distillery in the shadow of Edinburgh Castle, this brand new limited edition floral spirit contains chamomile, lemon balm, lemongrass and a generous burst of juniper, in addition to their usual signature botanicals. Gently infused with rose and hibiscus for a vibrant and passionate natural pink colour.

Cannonball Gin

The navy proof Cannonball Gin is the first ever speciality gin to be made at the Edinburgh Gin Distillery – it is a real blast from the past, and at 57% ABV it resurrects an old-style of gin commissioned by the British Navy. The team at Spencerfield Spirit have of course given it their own distinctive twist with some tasting help from the team at Heads & Tales Gin Emporium. Cannonball by name and by nature, this is one strong tipple and an intensely flavoured treat. Heady with unique botanicals, there's a powerful kick of Szechuan pepper and double-strength juniper to counteract the high alcohol content. Originally required to be 57% ABV so as to not render gunpowder useless, this variety of gin chimes with Edinburgh's iconic cannons and gun-firing tradition. They've combined their Art Deco sentiments with an nod to Edinburgh, and you'll also see a canon magnified by the gin itself – you could say it's a warning of what's held inside... As for how to drink it, what better way to appreciate the full force of 57% ABV gin and punchy botanicals than in the classic Martini?

Rhubarb and Ginger Gin Liqueur

Tangy spring crop rhubarb, macerated with warming oriental ginger and a little fragrant lemon zest. This is then infused into award winning Edinburgh Gin to produce a delicate aromatic rose coloured liqueur.
