Over 100 global leaders from retail, hospitality, e-commerce, tech and drinks have joined forces in a landmark initiative to curb harmful alcohol consumption, under the banner of the Global Standards Coalition (GSC).

Led by the International Alliance for Responsible Drinking (IARD), the coalition includes major players such as Walmart, SPAR International, Meta, Google, DoorDash, and the Duty Free World Council. These companies are implementing policies and practices to prevent underage and irresponsible alcohol consumption and marketing, with the aim of driving long-term, positive change.
