Cygnet Gin Partners with Penderyn Distillery at Swansea’s Historic Copperworks

Cygnet Gin have announced that their award-winning Cygnet gin has found a new home, at no other than the historic Penderyn Copperworks Distillery in Swansea.

This partnership brings together in partnership two of Wales’s most celebrated names in a perfect blend of tradition, craftsmanship, and innovation.

Cygnet historically was distilled in York Street in Swansea however quickly outgrew the premises owing to the unprecedented success of the brand. This partnership with Penderyn at the Copperworks Distillery in Swansea ensures that our 6th generation distilling team can continue to use copper Faraday Stills, ensuring consistency and unparalleled quality that Cygnet is celebrated for.

The Penderyn Copperworks Distillery in Swansea is located in the original copperworks site, which in its time was one of the largest in the world.

Within the visitor centre guests will learn about the history of the site, gain access the Distillery Hall to see the unique copper Faraday Stills used for Cygnet, visit the Cask Warehouse, and enjoy the stunning Tasting Bar where they are welcomed to explore award-winning Penderyn Whisky and Cygnet Gin.
