Papa Salt is an Australian coastal gin founded by five friends; Charlie Maas, Josey McNamara, Tom Ackerley, Margot Robbie and Regan Riskas Maas.
Developed over five years and 59 recipe variations, Papa Salt is a clean, slightly savoury gin bringing together native Australian botanicals including roasted nutty wattleseed, the zing of ginger and a hint of subtle salinity.
The award winning gin, developed in collaboration with the zero-waste Lord Byron Distillery in Byron Bay, is designed for easy, unhurried social occasions, drawing on Australian sensibilities for informal hospitality – centred around good drinks and good company.
Like the sandstone cliffs of its home on Australia’s East Coast, Papa Salt’s layers have plenty of stories to tell. Grounded notes from native wattleseed and peppercorn are brightened with hibiscus, citrus peel and a hint of oyster shell.
Launched in Australia in 2023, Papa Salt is now available across the globe from Australia, New Zealand, Spain, and Italy as well as nationwide throughout the UK.
