Tucked away on Banksia Drive in Byron Bay, New South Wales, Lord Byron Distillery is a family-owned operation that wears its values as proudly as its location.
Set against the lush backdrop of one of Australia’s most iconic coastal towns, it is a distillery built around a simple but powerful idea: do things you love, with people you love, in a place that feels like paradise.
Everything here is made on site. The base of each spirit begins with pure water drawn from the family’s own farm in the Byron Bay hinterland, combined with molasses sourced from local cane growers, a commitment to provenance that runs through every bottle.
Fermentation, distillation, maturation and bottling all take place under one roof, giving the team complete control over quality at every stage.
Lord Byron Distillery operates entirely on renewable energy and to a zero-waste standard, a genuine point of difference in the spirits world.
Visitors are warmly welcomed, with gin distilling classes, cocktail masterclasses, and tours and tastings all available – making it as much a destination as a distillery.
