Gin d’Ei is a Swiss craft spirits company based in Vétroz in the Valais region of Switzerland, producing and distilling its London Dry Gin locally.
The company was founded by Anouck Dann, who returned to the Valais after ten years in England, having studied Wine Business and specialised in spirits. Her experience led to the creation of a gin that combines Swiss provenance with the traditions of London Dry Gin.
The name Gin d’Ei comes from the Valaisan dialect, meaning “from here”, reflecting the company’s strong connection to its roots.
Production is carried out in small quantities using 100% Swiss alcohol derived from CH11 sugar beet, with an emphasis on quality, precision and local production.
Since its first 500-bottle batch sold out within three months, Gin d’Ei has grown its presence across Switzerland, with the gin now found in specialist bars, restaurants, hotels and mountain establishments.
The company has also received international recognition, including Gold and Country Winner at the World Gin Awards 2025.
