Gin d’Ei
From: Gin D’Ei
Gin d’Ei is a Swiss London Dry Gin created in the Valais region by Anouck Dann, who returned home after ten years in England with the ambition of creating a gin with character, balance and a strong sense of place.
The name “D’Ei” means “from here” in the Valaisan dialect, reflecting its local roots. Made in small batches using 100% Swiss alcohol derived from sugar beet, the gin combines nine botanicals, including juniper, coriander seed, cardamom and nettle.
At 40% ABV, Gin d’Ei brings together fresh citrus, spice and pronounced juniper, with iris root adding depth and helping the gin develop over time. The first 500-bottle batch sold out within three months, establishing Gin d’Ei among Switzerland’s growing craft gin producers.
