Crafter’s Golden Saffron Gin
From: Liviko
This gin has been infused with saffron, a seven-day process following distillation, and features a golden-yellow hue, along with a warm and subtle spicy aftertaste.
Made by following Crafter’s recipe #19, it is described as being ‘crisp’ and ‘herbaceous’ with the combination of saffron, lotus flower and mandarin peel softening the spirit, and ginger root providing balance to orris root’s sweet and earthy profile.

| Nose: | A mineral profile with a touch of smokiness captures the essence of a wild Nordic forest. Notes of fresh pine shoots, spruce needles, and dried orange peel blend with subtle heather flowers, orris root, and spicy ginger root, creating a rich, woody, and smoky aroma. |
| Palate: | This gin has a dry, full-bodied smokiness, beginning with hints of spruce needles and pine. Earthy sweetness from juniper berries and orange peel follows, leading to a finish with hints of salty minerality, floral heather, and blueberry shoots. A touch of warm ginger spice lingers in the aftertaste. |
| Finish: | A touch of warm ginger spice lingers in the aftertaste. |
