Valentine is a cook, food writer and broadcaster who makes regular appearances on BBC2, UKTV, BBC Radio 4 and Fox International.

He has a passion for seasonal food and is known for his forays into the wild where he explains the inviolable link between food, nature and history.

He is a partner in the Moorland Spirit Company alongside a mixologist, a drinks developer and juniper-obsessed countryman and now produces Hepple Gin.
