Trailblazing and multi award-winning Swedish gin brand Hernö has opened its very own gin hotel in central Härnösand in the High Coast of Sweden.

A unique addition to the High Coast – a UNESCO world heritage area, work began on the Hernö Gin Hotell in the autumn of 2020 and the first guests were welcomed through the doors on the 9th February.

An important milestone for brand, the project follows the opening of the Hernö Gin Bar in Stockholm in the summer of 2021.

Specifically built to cater for the national and international visitors looking to discover the unique home of Hernö and its distillery just outside Härnösand, the unique hotel combines Hernö Gin’s award-winning craftsmanship and stylish design with first-class accommodation.

Providing the most genuine Hernö Gin experience in every aspect of the layout, design and interior decoration, the hotel has its own gin studio and an exclusive Hernö Gin Bar on the hotel’s second floor.

The state-of-the-art hotel features 122 rooms (Master Distiller Suite, Junior Suites, Deluxe, Superior, Classic Double, Classic Twin or Family First), eight meeting rooms, a relaxation area and a connecting swimming hall with 25 metre swimming pool.

In addition to easy excursions to Hernö distillery in Dala, just a short drive outside Härnösand, guests can also enjoy gin-inspired tasting menus in the Southside restaurant created by Head Chef Radek Jackiewiczand his talented team.

The menu focuses on locally sourced seasonal produce from northern Sweden, which is complemented by selected ingredients and flavours from around the world.
