At the 17th annual Spirited Awards in New Orleans at Tales of the Cocktail® on 27th July 2023 the incoming Grand Rectifier of the Gin Guild Desmond Payne was awarded the Helen David Lifetime achievement award for his contribution to the world of cocktails.
The award was presented to him by old friends Jared Brown and Anistatia Miller.
