The Green Room Distillery was founded in March 2020 after Duncan, and co-founder Seb, lost all their work as designers in theatre and live events during Covid.
They are currently in the process of opening their new site in Soho, which will be the first legal and licensed distillery in the area in nearly 400 years.
The Green Room Distillery currently produces all its own spirit in Wandsworth, south west London, and will be moving to its new location in central London by the end of 2024.
Alongside its own spirits, it also produces many other gins under contract for Michelin-starred restaurants, bars and two other gin brands, and from day one they have produced a sustainable vodka utilising all the heads and tails of the gin to ensure there was no alcohol waste in the production process.
They are extremely proud to have partnered with the technical entertainment charity, BACKUP Tech. The charity provides financial support to professionals in the entertainment industry who have fallen on hard times, especially in the last few years due to Covid. The Green Room donates £1 from every bottle and drink sold.
Their unique, premium small batch spirits include the signature Theatre Dry Gin, Houselight Dry Gin, Flyman’s Strength Gin, aged Encore Sloe Gin, the world’s first peated dry gin, Smoke & Mirrors, and finally the sustainable Revival Vodka. They are all distilled, bottled and finished with a wax seal, ‘behind the scenes’ in London.
