Torino Distillati is a distinguished family-owned distillery located in Moncalieri, on the outskirts of Turin, Italy. The site traces back to its origins in 1906, built by the Ferrero di Riccardo brothers as a hub for vermouth and wine production.

It was later acquired in the 1960s by Seagram, before being bought in a pivotal 1992 management buy-out by Carlo Vergnano, who continues to lead the business today alongside his wife Piera and daughter Rita ensuring that family values remain at the heart of the operation.

The distillery operates across two main sites. The original Moncalieri plant combines historic character with modern production, covering more than 14,000 square metres and housing large tanks with a capacity of over 1.5 million litres, alongside advanced bottling lines. A second facility in Santena supports production and packaging, with stainless steel tanks, additional bottling lines, and photovoltaic panels to reduce environmental impact and energy costs.

Torino Distillati’s expertise extends far beyond gin. The distillery produces brandy, grappa, rum, vermouth, liqueurs, and even fruit vinegars, all supported by advanced infusion, distillation, and quality control systems. Among its flagship creations are Italicus Rosolio di Bergamotto and the Malfy Gin range — expressions of Italian heritage crafted with modern innovation.
