At the heart of the operation is Christian Taraborrelli, an Argentine-born distiller who has made the Mexican Caribbean his home and muse.

By naming each of the five stills, Christian treats the distillation process not just as a business, but as a personal craft where family tradition meets the untamed flavors of Solferino.
Every bottle of Solferino Native is a reflection of his journey and his commitment to creating a world-class gin that is as authentic and bold as the land it comes from.
The distillery features a family of five copper stills, proudly handcrafted by Mexican artisans. This setup includes four specialised 100-litre stills for precision distilling and small-batch infusions, alongside the main 350-litre still, allowing for absolute artisanal control at every stage of production.
