Kakira Distillery can be found in Jinja, Uganda nestling alongside Kakira Sugar Works where cane sugar has been produced by the same family for over 70 years.

Gin has long been popular in this country, and building on this heritage they have created a range of premium spirits to share with the rest of the world, believing that it’s high time to put Africa firmly on the map as a producer of truly exceptional drinks.
