Vogis Gin is an Armenian gin that places the character of juniper from the Armenian Highlands at the heart of its spirits. Drawing on a century of tradition, Vogis combines locally sourced botanicals with a carefully controlled production process designed to deliver consistency from batch to batch.

The production process begins with the selection of Armenian Highland juniper, described by Vogis as the trademark ingredient of the range. A wide selection of additional botanicals is used to create the individual flavour profiles, including rosehip, basil, chamomile, strawberry, wild cherry, peach and alpine mint.

Following infusion, the botanicals are distilled separately using two different types of equipment: traditional Copper Alembic and Column Still distillation. The resulting spirits are then allowed to rest for two weeks before being brought together by the master distiller. This blending stage is central to the Vogis approach, ensuring consistency of taste and aroma between batches.

The spirit subsequently undergoes chill filtration, removing residue and cloudiness that can occur when the gin is chilled or diluted with water, before being bottled.

Vogis currently offers three expressions. Classic Dry Gin combines juniper with coriander seed, Earl Grey, lemongrass, rosehip, basil, chamomile and strawberry, creating a distinctive botanical profile. Wild Cherry Gin brings Armenian wild cherry to the fore, balancing gentle fruit character with bolder notes. Peach Gin combines peach with alpine mint for a fresh and refined expression.

Based in Yerevan, Armenia, Vogis represents the growing international profile of Armenian gin, combining the distinctive character of Armenian botanicals with traditional and modern distillation techniques.
