    Shivering Mountain distillery is located in the heart of the UK’s Peak District National Park. Their premises sits in the beautiful Hope Valley, overlooked by Mam Tor, the majestic peak known locally as the Shivering Mountain. Named because of the elemental erosion and geological movement that’s echoed through local valleys and villages for millennia.

    They have harnessed their landscape’s immense forces, the micro climate, fresh spring waters and natural botanicals to create a range of gins with a totally unique character, nose and finish. They call this Ginology and their aim is simple: to capture the beauty and spirit of the Peak District in a bottle.

    Shivering Mountain Gin is a community enterprise. They employ local experts, suppliers, and use local botanicals and ingredients wherever possible to create a truly authentic Peak District gin experience. They focus on quality not volume and their focus is on highly crafted premium gins.

    They run small batches to perfect the taste and consistency. Every batch is hand-crafted by their expert and passionate team.
