Gin Guild Annual Gin Industry Dinner and Guild Spring Installation 2020 CANCELLED
Wednesday 6th May 2020 from 6:15 pm - 11:00 pm£162 – £210
Friday 12 June 2020 – RSA House, 8 John Adam St, London, WC2N 6EZ
CANCELLED DUE TO COVID-19 / CORONAVIRUS OUTBREAK
Based on the latest UK news and guidance, our own events (which include international gin industry participants), the Gin Industry Annual Dinner in May and the Ginposium (gin industry seminar), in June, are regrettably now cancelled.
Ticket refunds for those who have already booked to attend our key events will be processed as soon as practicable. Even if we were technically able to proceed under whatever Government guidance is in place at the date of the relevant event, the crisis and related concerns would mean low attendance, no-international guests, possible speaker issues and unwieldy additional precautions (including social distancing), which will not be practical given the venues and the nature of the events.
Events attended by large numbers are likely in any event by the dates of our events to be cancelled by Government decree/recommendation. Apologies of course for the cancellations, but we have to be realistic about how the current crisis is developing and mindful of the restrictions that will likely to be in place on those dates, as well as reflecting the wider social need, the personal preferences of those who would be likely to attend in usual times, and of course Government recommendations (which may become mandatory), for social distancing and self-isolation.
A very difficult time clearly lies ahead for all. Our thoughts and best wishes to all in the industry, as well as their staff, families and loved ones.

No casual/sport clothes/shoes.

This event has a particular flavour and style, as it is a very distinguished location, which we are privileged to share. Before and after the ceremony, members of the Guild old and new, and their guests, share in a gin bar.
They are able to sample the spirit alongside the conviviality of Guild membership. After the installation members and their guests are able to enjoy a formal dinner in the Guildhall.
A full e-brochure is available for this event on request to share with potential guests. Ticket price is £135 (inc. VAT).
Any dietary requirements will need to be advised by email to the Guild within five working days of sending the menu out. It is not possible to request a change the menu at the event itself. Any general allergies and preferences (vegetarian/vegan/allergies etc.), however should be noted on the booking form in the usual way on booking in any event.
It is essential that attendees bring their invitations to gain access and photo I.D. (passport or the photocard Drivers Licence), as it is anticipated, particularly following a recent security breach suspect that the venue will be quite strict about allowing access. – especially if anyone is wearing a red dress and sash! If you or any guest drops out, please try to fill the space with an appropriate guest.
