Hachiban Gin

From Alembic Inc.

HACHIBAN means No. 8 in Japanese. The name comes from the eighth recipe used in the product prototyping process. We also use eight different botanicals, including locally grown botanicals.

This dry gin from Kanazawa uses spring water from the Hakusan Mountain range. To bring out the aroma of juniper berries, we used more juniper berries than usual, resulting in a crisp finish with a fresh citrus flavor like grapefruit mixed with other flavors.
Our goal was to create a flavor that is easy to drink for gin lovers as well as those who are unfamiliar with gin, and that will make you want to have another glass.

Botanicals:
Juniper berry, Coriander seed, Cacao nibs, Lemon peel, Orange peel, Kuromoji (spicebush), Angelica root, Cassia
* We source Kuromoji from the foothills of Hakusan, and the lemons are grown in Kubi, Hiroshima.
