Trevethan Cornish Gin
From Trevethan Distillery
Trevethan Original Cornish Gin is a London Dry version of a family "bath tub" recipe created in 1929 by Norman Trevethan. Head Distiller John Hall has take a nearly 100 year old recipe of 10 botanicals, Juniper, Coriander, Angelica, Cassia, Lemon, Orange, Elderflower, Gorse Flower, Cardamom and Vanilla and created an exquisitely balanced dry gin.
Made on traditional copper alembic pot stills and adhering staunchly to the London Dry methodology, Trevethan have created a Juniper forward, 1920's style gin, that begins with big earthy and spicy tones and develops into lighter citrus notes and finishes with a floral balance to the Juniper pine.
