IWSC 2021 Bronze Award Winner
Murre Gin Wingrut
From wacholdas?!
For this Barrel Aged Gin, a small batch (“Small Batch”) is matured in 220 litre wine barrels, of which a maximum of half is removed for bottling and the barrel is then refilled. Their 7 botanicals were also used here.
Clearly as it is, it is poured into a Pinot Noir wine barrel from the Peter Kriechel winery on the Ahr at the beginning of January 2021, to draw its delicate pink colour and taste.
