The Gael Signature Scottish Gin
From The Gael Spirits
For their Signature Gin their aim was Scottish. Using malted barley they distill five times in a bespoke hybrid still (copper pot linked to copper column) to achieve a high quality base spirit.
Their botanicals, including Scottish heather, are added to the base spirit by a combination of compounding/macerating and they blend to give the unique smoothness, flavour and notes.
The result is a smooth gin with a citrus/heather aroma, followed by a subtle juniper/slightly spicy flavour and a warm finish. They also have a great back story for the name The Gael - inspired by the internationally acclaimed fiddle tune of the same name, and the tune is reflected in the labelling on the bottle.
