Sorgin Gin
From Alambic SAS
Sorgin, the first spirits of Sabine & François Lurton, winemaker and estates owner in France and abroad. Descending from a major Bordeaux wine family, in 2016 they relaunched the distillation business once started by Léonce Récapet (1880), Francois’ great-grandfather.
This distilled gin is a bridge between wine and spirits, inspired by Sauvignon Blanc, François’s favourite grape varietal and for which he is a world expert. Sorgin (which in Basque) refers to its French South West origin and to the conviviality, embodied by basque celebrations. Sorgin is unique with its grape base and natural Sauvignon Blanc aroma.
