Broich Single Estate Gin
From The Teasmith Spirit
Broich Single Estate is a limited edition release from the team at The Teasmith Spirit Company. Nick and Emma worked with Scottish tea growers to acquire some incredibly rare tea grown on the banks of the River Earn in Perthshire. When distilled, the tea leaves produce notes of honey and apple - quite different to the orange and minty notes that the Ceylon tea produces in their flagship product.
These were then married with more classic gin botanicals including juniper, coriander seed, orange peel, lemongrass, almonds and cinnamon. The result is a truly bold and complex classic - one for proper gin connoisseurs to enjoy. This is the first in the series of what the team have called their "Growers Edition".
Nick and Emma are looking forward to sourcing teas grown around Scotland and creating limited edition releases with flavours influenced by where the teas have come from.
