Persie Distillery
Persie Gin launched in May 2016. Developed by Scotland’s first touring gin club (Gin Club Scotland), the family of three original gins are based on feedback from 4,000 gin-lovers. These award-winning gins are handcrafted in small batches in a stables-turned-distillery at the foot of Glenshee in Highland Perthshire. Dubbed Phil the Still, the 230 litre copper pot still is a thing of beauty, and the first in Scotland from Müller in Germany. The distillery is family-run and open to the public for drop- ins and liquid tours throughout the year.
Persie Distillery joined forces with PADS (Perthshire Abandoned Dogs Society) in 2018 as its dedicated charity partner. The team’s mission is to release a family of ‘dog gins’ – with different styles of gin reflecting different breeds! For every bottle sold, £1 is donated to PADS to help provide care and shelter for the country’s unwanted dogs.
