Poetic License Old Tom Gin

Produced by: Poetic License

Poetic Licence’s Old Tom gin is made using no sugar – all the sweetness is produced by the liquorice root, and they are keen to be as historically accurate in their production of an Old Tom as possible, using barrels to create a sweet flavour.

ABV:41.6%
Nose:Soft with floral, oaky aromas, accentuated by Indonesian cubeb peppers. There is a notable citrus hint that accompanies the floral elements too.
Palate:Similar flavours to their London dry gin emerge, with juniper coming back into play while the orange seems more pronounced.
Finish:Their signature cubeb gives this gin some additional spice towards the finish, lingering longer than most gins.
