København Navy Strength Gin
The history of Navy Strength dates back to around the beginning of the 19th century, when British sailors were to conquer and fight other countries. In order to survive the war, the sailors demanded strong alcohol. At that time, however, it was not always easy to validate the gin’s alcohol percentage, so the sailors found out that if they could set fire to the gin, they had got hold of the right product – namely the strong Navy Strength gin.

Dominant and Crisp
A tribute to the old sailor’s tradition in a modern version. The bottle is inspired by traditional pharmacy bottle.
Ideal mixer: Classic tonic
Recommended garnish: Orange Peel
Ideal serve: Dry tonic water elevates the juniper and makes it dryer with wood spices and pine with a beautiful balanced sweetness of liquorice. It opens up with the tonic beautifully. Maybe not a gin that to be drunk neat but with mixers it is delicious.
