Kew Explorer’s Strength Gin

In search of botanicals Kew’s botanists travelled the world alongside the British Navy. These journeys of exploration were treacherous, and a daily ration of high-proof gin was given to the explorers and officers to galvanise them on their voyage of discovery. This gin honours that tradition.

A curation of 15 botanicals originating from the furthest corners of the world come together, incorporating crashing waves of juniper, building into a balanced blend of coriander seed, combined with angelica, lemon, grapefruit, orange and bergamot zests, sweet floral notes from liquorice, orris, green  cardamom and passion flower and rounded with warmth from cinnamon and nutmeg followed by exotic spice from Sichuan pepper and cubeb.
