Harrington Sloe Gin
A fabulously fruity gin handcrafted by lifelong friends Tom Warner and Sion Edwards in a barn in Harrington, Northamptonshire, infused with hand picked local sloes, from the countryside in England and Wales, a truly fabulous creation of which all of Britain can be proud.
- A spicy and rich liqueur with an underlying sweetest and warmth
- The sloe berries are macerated in the gin for at least one month to ensure a deep fruity flavour is achieved
- Our sloe berries are not discarded once removed as they are then redistilled to extract the alcohol absorbed, and use the resulting clear, high-proof sloe gin to intensify to sloe flavour.
|Nose:||Rich, jammy sloes: plump, with a little fragrant almond, warm spice, and dry stone fruit.|
|Finish:||Dry, slightly tart fruit combined with vanilla and cardamom spice.|
|Serve:||Traditionally a hipflask drink, but it’s very nice in the Summer with loads of ice, some bitter lemon and a slice of lime. Also nice with prosecco (like a Kir Royale) or 50:50 with port. Garnish with lime|
