DESCRIPTION:Following the success of the spirits mission to New Delhi and Mumbai in November 2025\, the UK Exports team are planning a follow-up inbound mission to the UK. This will bring a delegation of five to seven leading Indian distributors and buyers\, helping sustain the momentum built in the Indian market and strengthen awareness of UK brands. \n \nWhy this matters:\nIndia’s alcoholic beverages market is among the fastest-growing globally\, driven by rising demand for premium\, craft\, and innovative spirits. With the India–UK Free Trade Agreement progressing\, this programme offers UK brands a timely platform to: \n\nBuild direct partnerships with credible Indian buyers\nExplore new export and distribution channels\nAssess opportunities for private/white labelling\nDiscuss bulk supply and bottling options\nDevelop long-term strategic collaborations and investments\n\nThis initiative is designed to help UK brands secure an early-mover advantage in a market poised for significant growth. \nProgramme highlights:\n\nThree-city mission: London\, Edinburgh\, Belfast\nMeet-the-Buyer B2B sessions in each city\nDistillery visits (for buyers) showcasing UK innovation\, quality\, and heritage\n\n  \nWho should apply:\nWe are now inviting businesses in the following categories to express interest in the B2B programme: \n\nWhisky (Scotch\, English\, Welsh)\nIrish Whiskey\nWine (Still/Sparkling)\nGin\nVodka\nRum\nLiqueurs\nRTDs\n\nApplications from vineyards/wineries\, breweries\, and cider houses are welcome\, though these are not priority categories for the buyer delegation. \n  \nREGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED FOR THIS EVENT\n \n  \nThe India delegation will include: \n\nLeading importers and national distributors\nRetail and HORECA buying groups\nDuty-free and e-commerce players\nBulk buyers\, bottlers & contract manufacturers\n\nEach participant will be selected based on capability\, scale\, and alignment with UK brands – and details of each buyer shared closer to the time.
