Look out for two evening seminars from the Gin Guild being held at the Wine & Spirit Education Trust, on gin, on 24th February 2015 and 3rd March 2015, for those new to gin in the drinks trade (introductory level), or ideal for aficionados. Each starts at 6.30pm.
Each seminar is stand alone, but they can be taken together for depth of coverage.

A celebration of Gin
Gin history, brands, development gin in the spirits market and marketing. This seminar provides an outline of gin history, coverage of main current brands and sundry tastings.
Gin: Distilling to Drinking
Gin production, botanicals and gin styles. Topics include the process of distillation and gin production and consideration of various key gin styles and concludes with a tour of the Jensen’s Distillery in Bermondsey (attendees should be aware that this involves a 5 minute walk from the WSET premises).
